Embedded
Systems Lab.
In-house firmware development, HIL simulation, and embedded systems testing at the Power Flux AI headquarters in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune. TI TMS320F28388D and STM32 development platforms. Workshop training facility for 50+ engineers trained to date.
In-house firmware development and control validation.
The Power Flux AI Embedded Systems Lab is the primary development facility for AI-FOC firmware, digital twin software, and control system validation. The lab hosts HIL simulation hardware for real-time DSP validation before any power hardware is built — validating AI-FOC control algorithms, sensorless observers, field weakening, and fault handling at hardware speed on the actual target processor. The lab also serves as the hands-on training facility for the 3-Day AI Motor, Inverter, Hardware and Firmware Design workshop.
What this lab enables.
Real-Time DSP Validation
Hardware-in-the-loop simulation using dSPACE and Typhoon HIL. AI-FOC control algorithm runs on actual TMS320F28388D or STM32 while power stage is simulated in real time. Validates control software before first hardware build.
AI-FOC Development
AI-FOC motor control firmware development on TI TMS320F28388D (C2000) and STM32 platforms. FreeRTOS integration, CAN/SPI/UART communication, and fault handling. PlatformIO and Code Composer Studio environments.
IoT & Monitoring Software
Python-based digital twin construction and deployment. InfluxDB time-series database setup, Grafana dashboard development, and MQTT IoT integration. REST API development for SCADA and DCIM integration.
Workshop Facility
Hands-on training facility for the 3-Day AI Motor, Inverter, Hardware and Firmware Design workshop. 10+ workstations each with STM32 development board, motor drive kit, and full open-source toolchain installed.
PCB Prototyping & Assembly
PCB prototype assembly, rework, and bring-up. Soldering stations, microscope inspection, and in-circuit testing. KiCad design files to fabricated boards via India-based PCB supplier network.
Instrumentation & Debug
Mixed-signal oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers for embedded systems debug. JTAG/SWD debug interfaces. Power supply characterization and noise measurement.
